Subject: Reliability of Vue4 ?

I am interested in Vue4. I was thinking to purchase it. But, many people told me that Vue3 crushed often when they were working. How is Vue4? Is the problem fixed? Is it reliable? I would like to have your inputs to make my final decision. I am using Poser. Does Vue4 give very good quality rendering for the Poser figure?

Hi, Vue 4 has not crashed on me at all, since I got it yesterday. About 24 hrs of use so far :) I think the problem with Vue 3, was that a lot of the time people who where having problems where running things in the background (IE, Norton etc.), which really should not be done when working with any graphics programs. As for poser rendering; sorry I have not got an image handy but for me the rendering of Poser figures are as good as you will get anywhere else IMO. No faceting, and the texture colours are a close, if not perfect match to those you see in Poser :) Cheers

Vanilla install on PC with only Win98, Vue 4 & Poser in an attempt to get a Poser import, still no import but at times: VUE4 caused an invalid page fault in module ENGINE.DLL or VUE4 caused an invalid page fault in module ??? That last one is really helpful, I'm really glad I still have Vue 3.
