This is my first ever pic created using the Vue3 Demo. Suggestions, comments appreciated :) btw:I'll be receiving Vue4 in 1-2 weeks - this demo will help me prepare JoeBlack

Nice spotlight on the tree. If you use a fuzzy material on a cylinder object, you could also show the light beam coming out of the ship. :)

Thanx :) I did try creating a fog to help defract the light and make it visible, but it wouldn't work. I also tried to make the light source visible on the UFO... JoeBlack

Hi Joe, I did the same thing. Playing with the 3.1 demo for preparation and then when receiving Vue 4, starting to use that one. But I got Vue 4 the day after I created my first picture. It would have been a very long wait (1 or 2 weeks). I am so glad that it arrived in less then a week (normal postage in Europe). It is wonderful. About your picture. It looks nice. A lightbeam out of the saucer would be even nicer (IMHO), but it is a good start. Bye, Angelo

Making the light beam will be real easy once you get v.4 because you can just set the spotlight to be volumetric, and the beam would "instantly" show up! :)
