Not sure if this is what you are expecting, anyway...its a quickie from V4...

Here is another variant with cumulus clouds casting shadow on the terrain. I need to work on the overall scene but the atmosphere is all my work, built from scratch. :)

There is a thick haze to my last shot so it is not the best reference for nice fluffy clouds on a perfect day. The scene is on a hot day so this is why it's got lotsa haze. :) Cheers!

Tesign, how come even your quickies look great... :) Love that sky...

Errr...."quicky"...meaning no compositional idea but just to look see how...LOL! Anyway..in that image, no fog, low on haze, three layer of clouds (one cumulus) all in volumetric and their density and illumination played with. Took just about four minutes on a PIII 850 with 512 Meg SDRAM wit image size as shown here. Thanks Tradivoro :)

Hey Bill, that tree looks a heck of a lot like the live oak I'm trying to do with Xfrog. Is it a Vue tree? (It's all wrong for a live oak, but so is mine.. hahah) Just curious. Love those clouds. Just got Vue4 and haven't come up with anything nearly that good, yet. Dig

Hey Dig! :) Good to hear from you here! No, that's not an Oak tree...its the standard Walnut tree from Vue vegetation. I would have love to have an old oak tree. Same here about Vue 4, just been playing with it only for awhile the same day I got it. Been reading the manual first :)

Reading the manual, huh? Guess I should try that, too? Dig

Bill, that sky looks great! And you say that's the Walnut? Steve had said his walnut wouldn't work anymore, with V4. So yours does work with no problems?

Yes Mike, when I copied my Vue 3 plant over, I did not allowed any thing to be ovewritten.
