Subject: Poser Not Responding

I have a LOT of problems with Poser 7 freezing up on me.  Lately I can't even use the program.  When I open Poser the updates available window pops up.  When I try to click OK the whole program freezes up.  How do I get rid of this problem?  Thanks.

Maybe go to the smith micro site and download the update and then install it into your poser.
But I wouldn't update poser 7 to SR3 if you use Vue because that upgrade makes relative pathways in your poser file and then vue can't find things if you have external runtime.
If you don't own vue then upgrade to SR3 for poser 7

I put a script up to convert relative paths to absolute paths in poser  files for import to Vue.

check the python forum or http://www.sharecg.com/v/27564/Script/script-to-fix-file-paths

yep that is a good script.  I have poser pro and poser 7 and I find it useful after using your python script to do any furthur adjustments to the pz3 in poser 7 to save running the script again.  So I haven't updated to sr3 in poser 7 and all is well.
Your script is very fast and extremely useful.
