Hi folks.

I have yet another silly Carrara trick/problem.  This one has me stumped.

I am working on my contest entry and After major frustration and wasting about a weeks worth of work due to Carrara bugging out as usual, I finally got a scene running, however...

I planned to have two or three object groups for a table and lamp.  I made the primary one using some existing poser content and tweaked textures.  I want to either duplicate or copy and paste the group a few times so I don't have to remake it completely for each instance of it.  My problem is that Carrara for some weird reason will not allow me to duplicate or copy the group.  If you look at the image below you will notice that the necessary selections are greyed out.  Any ideas?  I am probably making some dumb newbie mistake, which can happen when you get as frustrated as I have..

Any Help Appreciated..

Argggggggg!!!!!  Now it won't let me save the file again.......  It just says "An error has occured" the instantI click on the save dialog to save it.  It doesn't even try to save.  I am getting soo frustrated...  I seriously hope Daz does something to make these errors a bit less useless.....

Hello
I have seen this happen in Carrara 6 and didnt resolve it .
I ended up ungrouping and duplicating that way.

I just decided to not even bother, so I took it out.  I found out what my save problem is, It was that same table lamp group.  As soon as I zapped it, I was able to save again.

The problem was either the Antique lamp or the end table from the Mansion Great room collection.  I replaced both and now the scene seems to be working correctly.
