Subject: Just Purchased M4 Morphs++ and ......

TOPcat831 ( ) posted Mon, 08 December 2008 at 11:54 AM · edited Sun, 06 October 2024 at 9:08 AM

I just purchased M4 Morphs++ from Daz 3d and They don't seem to work. I've sent Daz3d notice that the file isn't working for me and I'm waiting to see if they'll get back to me. I had no problem with Victoria 4, but with Michael 4 they don't affect the base figure at all. I was wondering how many others are having this problem?

I'm using Windows XP Ultimate/ Poser 7

After you download the base, you get an update installer on your desktop. Did you run the installer after each download? For instance, Morphs +++_>>>>update installer. Next exe.>>>>>update installer?

No I didn't run the updater, I thought that was for Daz Studio

I have Windows XP and Poser 6. I don't use Daz. I was instructed to run the installer after running each package.

I'm gonna try again from the begining. Something wierd just happened and everything Poser just switched itself to SmithMicro. So I'm going to try re-installing M4

After installing any V4 and/or M4 related content, it is a good idea to run the updater regardless whether you are running Poser or DAZStudio.  SmithMicro is now the current parent company for Poser. You will get a change over.

Nope, no good. None of my M4 Morphs are working.

Have you:

  1. loaded the M4 character,
  2. injected the Morph++ pose files and
  3. tried spinning some parameter dials?

Oh, and you absolutely have to run the updater when you install. It does things that make M4 work. In Poser.

Got it working now.
Had to update the Content Updater, and his morphs are loading.
Now I can bulk up my M4 and get to rendering.
