Hi

My copy of Imagine FX magazine  arrived today (Issue 39 January 2009) and I noticed that there’s a free copy of Michael 4 complete on it. Pretty good freebie I thought (well if your getting the magazine anyway it is:)

Just thought I’d let people know

I tried to see what the price is in U.S. dollars but the page wouldn't change.

Are you sure it's not just the Base package?

I should hope it's just the base.

I used to subscribe to ImagineFX, but... you know that reader letter prize? Well, I "won" it.
It was a copy of Vue6.
Guess what -- despite several emails (and never getting a response) -- that copy never materialized. Never heard anything, nada. Zilch. Squat.
Makes me wonder who else got stiffed by them like that and if the star prize ever gets to anyone.
It completely turned me off the magazine and I let the subscription lapse.

No its definitely M4 complete just been checking out the files they are:
M4 hand poses
M4 Base
M4 Morphs
m4 genitalia
jai hair
skin maps standard res
stylin for M4
Was a bit surprised myself it being so new. Ok with me though as I’d been humming and harring as whether to get the morphs :)

Now the question is, are these the updated corrected versions or the original?

Silke ( ) posted Tue, 09 December 2008 at 1:56 PM

That kinda.... sucks, considering he's not even 2 months old. And many of us paid good dough for him.

Well, thanks for the heads-up. I subscribe to ImagineFX and it arrived a couple of days ago, but I hadn't got around to checking the CD. Says it's the M4 Complete package normally retailing for $49.95.

I wasn't going to buy M4 but I don't object to being given it for free!

Makes you wonder if you get updates. I'd think not.

Already bought the package. At least it'll increase the user base, that's gotta be good.

I wonder when the magazine will show up in book stores in Germany. I just found the previous issue at a relay store.

I have to go to Barnes and Noble tomorrow and see if they have that issue...:)

TheOwl ( ) posted Wed, 10 December 2008 at 6:32 PM

Just been in B&B and they don't have the 39th issue there. I was very disappointed!

Do this mean I have to wait till January just to get the goods? How in the world did you guys get the Jan 2009 issue?! Its still December!!!

yea I get it on subscription here in the UK , always comes 3 weeks to a month early.

When it does arrive to help you spot it  the cover has a painting of a samurai on  (assuming they don't use a different cover there)

hemi426 ( ) posted Thu, 11 December 2008 at 2:22 PM

Are there differences between the subscription and the retail version? I mean, is the DVD the same?

I think imagine fx is based over in the uk, is it not?

artbyphil ( ) posted Fri, 12 December 2008 at 7:55 AM

yea its a UK mag.  As far as I know the DVD is the same. I used to buy it from the shop before I subscribed to  it and it seemed the same then. The only diffrence with the subscription version is the cover has no writing on it apart form saying Imaging FX.
