I tihnk you could also clothify a square and add a wind-element to make it wave.

WARK!

(using Poser Pro 2014 SR3, on 64 bit Win 7, poser units are inches.)

Cool
I'll try that tomorrow. I've never ventured into the cloth room, so should be interesting - fun and hopefully not to difficult
cheers

Would this system work if I wanted to to animate sails on a sailing ship for example HMS Victory etc? Cheers

I think that can work: SVDL has a free sailing boat with clothified sails, perhaps you can take a look at how has done it.

Bopper.

Here's the link to his freestuff, but as I read the description  of his sailing boat, I wonder if it's dynamic, I remember he told me once it was, but now I'm not sure.  I know it will work because I once used a windforce on my dynamic beach chair and it worked, so why wouldn't it work with sails on a sailing boat?

Well, if you need some advice, just ask me.

Ok I'm a bit lost on section 5 of the tutorial ....
"Choose a very simple item, like the P4 female bikini bottom, and click on "Apply library preset"."

I cannot find the button "apply library preset"

where should i be looking?
thanks

bopperthijs ( ) posted Thu, 11 December 2008 at 5:21 PM

The "apply library preset" button is the V-button on the bottom of the library window, or just double-click the icon.

best regards,

Bopper.

I just realised the flag is unfortunately a single sided object
so it looks odd when the other side of the flags folds over into view
