I have bought a new scanner, and have begun scanning over 100 shots from the medieval week in Visby, Sweden during two trips 1992 and 1994. I travelled with a friend who was the one having the best camera. He is ill and handicapped now, has no computer, so I have a wish to post some of the shots with knights and a whole city dressed in clothes from far ago. The question is: shall I post to Photo gallery, or 2D, since my friend mostly held the camera. Test here

They should be posted in the Snapshot Gallery.

Sorry Fred, that doesn't feel right to me. First, I never heard of the snapshot gallery before, and after looking...no, these photos are better than just snapshots, he is a very good photographer, and besides, i am going to work a great deal on them, so they will be posted to my "home" gallery, 2D.

Don't be surprised if they get moved.  I don't see what the problem is with putting photos that you did not take in the Snapshot  gallery, after all that was why it was set up.

I think if the images were presented in a collage such as this 2 D would be Ok...

Just be sure to make note of the photographers name in the comment section.

Normally David is correct, photo's that are not your own, but you have permission to post belong in snapshot, but when you present images like this in a collage, 2D could also be an option..

Yes, I am going to make collages of them, with different themes. If that is not OK for 2D Gallery, there are other places on the net to host them.
