Subject: which is the best file export option for poser to render in 3ds?

could any one tell me if i wish to render poser figures in 3ds which is the best export option to choose?

You can export an obj file from Poser , then import that into 3ds max . You will have to adjust or replace the textures .

I have attached a python script that adds full path names to the .mtl file so max will find the image files on import. Rename it to a .py file type . It expects a foler c:tempscene to write a work file.

There is an obj import plugin for max that my friend uses but I dont know where its from.  You might ask in the 3dsmax forum .

Doesent MAX support Colladda??
get the FREE Daz Studio
open the figure in DS
export to collada with textures and rigging (posability) intact

Tried that just gave me errors when opened in MAX
