Subject: What's missing in your brush palette?

suztv ( ) posted Sat, 20 December 2008 at 8:52 AM · edited Wed, 27 November 2024 at 2:31 PM

Just curious on what others might want/need in the line of brushes.  I make dynamic brushes usually and I would like to know what people are really looking for.  I recently did a fur brush set that people liked and I have a few on Deviant and Exchange that have been downloaded - but I'm curious to know what you need for your art.  There are millions of brushes but I concentrate on quality and useability - I'm an artist as well so I really only want things in my brush palette that are useful.

So suggestions, or comments?

I find I never have enough flame and smoke brushes.

I'm working on dynamic flame brushes - so far I am very close to achieving it.  What version Photoshop do you use?  Or if you use PSP - let me know too.

I'm using CS2...

I use PS7CS, that is Photoshop 7 with some code I installed from Photoshop CS along with filters and plugins that essencially make my PS 7 - PSCS or maybe the only version around of PS7CS!!! Anyway, that's what I have!!!

I would rather be Politically Incorrect,
Then have Politically Correct-Incorrectness!!!

Anyone want to be a guinea pig?  I'll send you brushes - if you give me feedback.  At the worst you may end up with brushes you don't want - at the best, you'll be getting some pretty cool brushes for free.

I'll give 'em a shot.
