Just checking in, making sure Santa treated you all alright...

Truly wish there was more time to play these days.
I'm gonna have to actually take a real vacation just so I can do some true Brycing again, lol.
(not just a stupid terrain wall and a mat)

Take care, all and of course, Happiest of Holidays to you all!!

dhama, masterpiece = time, lol. Don't have any of it unfortunately. ;o(

Work is ramping up to the point where it looks like one movie will automatically overlap the next. I think eventually, I might never have any time off, lol.

Which means...I need a raise.  ;o)

Money = time off x Bryce

If it gets to be too much just tell em you need some time to re-enforce your Self actualization by using Bryce.[

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow's_hierarchy_of_needs](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow's_hierarchy_of_needs)

If they question this refer 'em to this article on Demming and tell 'em that practicing with Bryce will help you to improve the product. [

http://www.witiger.com/internationalbusiness/TQM.htm](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow's_hierarchy_of_needshttp://www.witiger.com/internationalbusiness/TQM.htm)

The first article 404'd so try these:

http://www.educesoft.com/quality/demming.htm

If they don't bite by then keep a stiff upper lip.

Anyrate glad business is good for you - my current gig is keeping Katrina in Fancy Feast and Tempatons and a roof over her head; no knowing how long that will last but I'm hopeful...
take care,
-TJ

Wine gives me plenty of headaches but Bryce never has.......................... WHY IS THIS DAMNED RENDER TAKING SO LONG!!!!!!!..... but never headaches.

Wow....(bikermouse)...you have enlightened me. I'm digging the heirarchy of needs. I think I like the title of it the most. (no, seriously)

Yeah, work is good...for now. We are staring straight at an SAG (Actors) strike right now that might happen within a couple of weeks. But, I do believe (and hope) it might not hurt our current movie though. I think all the deals have already been made & signed (fingers crossed)

I know "Tin Tin" is obviously dead in the water 'til Spielberg & Jackson find funding, but the SAG strike could also slow even doing that down. (The Tin Tin building is just a few blocks away from my work.)

Lol, Macs are kinda alien to me. But, I respect the overall simplicity, or at least I can understand the draw of it (the "it just works" aspect).

"wow. humbled by that last render. sigh"

Not me. I realize that I COULD do that given enough time but what would take him ten minutes would take me ten days or even ten weeks and a whole Lotta planning(and pizza)... and then there's the render time factor. So perhaps Awed would be a better word in my case.

BTW: MACS are just alien period. To emphisise that point and also to prove I could be penny wise and pound foolish, I just ordered another PC. DualCore PCI-E SATA all the good stuff...In a year I'm sure it'll be M.E. fodder but at least it'll get me past the Mass Effect game (not to be confused with Windows M.E.).

AgentSmith ( ) posted Sat, 24 January 2009 at 11:53 PM

Macs are alien, lol.

Well, I just finished working on nothing but a Mac at work for the last few weeks. (Mac OS 10.5). It was not too terribly foreign...but I missed having the knowledge on how to tweak everything, as I do in Windows. It actually was a good experience overall, but I truly missed the vast amount of various software I could use on Windows.

They have me back on a PC now as I needed a more powerful workstation. (the buildings runs on 99.9% PC)
