I modeled a peacock chair at the request of thefixer. It was a bit of a challenge for me but I learned some new things and I think it looks good.  It works well with Poser characters - See thefixer's  latest gallery post too, he made good use of it. If you havnt followed the original thread - the model is available free for awhile. Either site mail me with a e-mail address(you get the cushion too), or download it from sharecg (cushion not  included ).

I'd love to see what you could do with it:)
Enjoy!

Hi, it looks lovely.   Excellent modelling.  I can use this for a render I have in mind.   I sent a site mail to you with my email.  Thanks, Jan

Thanks everyone! It is now available from free stuff here, but it will still direct you to Sharecg for the download.

Chrispoole - a footstool and even a side table with a glass top are available for the slightly resourceful :)
(see picture, made in vue from the same items I offered originally).

If you pose in poser, you may be interested in the Poser version (.pp2 file + textures) of the chair. I would still recommend using the vue(vob) object if you are rendering in vue. (it is awaiting approval at free stuff here, but you can get it from shareCG directly using the above link) Thanks for all who requested/downloaded the vue version - it was a nice surprise to see how many people wanted it (approaching 300 at the moment).  I'm encouraged enough to consider making a commercial package of furniture in this style in the near future.
