Subject: Semi OT: Great inspiration for Spectral Clouds

I came across this image via Digg and I just HAD to share it.

Of course, now I also have to try replicating it in Vue :)

Thats a good one!

Since i use VUE i look  " different"  at the sky's   The funny thing is that i oftenly see real sky' s /atmosphere's and then i think..  If i would create that in VUE it would look like a fantasy scene. 

Nature can produce so many incredeble scene's that if we would copy it, most people would say it could not be real.  :-)

This picture is a great example of that.

Yep - truth is often stranger than fiction. Not that it wouldn't make for some serious cloud building practice!

When I started using Bryce, this happened to me regularly. I wondered how I would recreate such or such sky.
After this, I switched to photography and my concerns were different. I wondered which filter (ND grad, reverse ND grad) I would use to capture a scene properly.


Fantasy pictures, free 3d models, 3d tutorials and seamless textures on Virtual Lands.
