Is anyone having trouble downloading freestuff from ShareG? I never seem to have much luck getting downloads from them.Perhaps it is my computer, although I  have two of them, but I do not have any trouble  getting downloads from anyone else! Cheers

So far I've never had any problems downloading from Share3G. Got my freebies stored there too and find it 'friendlier' than other storage sites.

Nope no problems. Downloaded something just today. Are you getting an error message? What's happening?

I havent had any trouble either , but you can try star downloader which is a free utility that will restart a download if you lose the connection.

I click on the download button and it just sits there until it times me out.Cheers

I get the same problem on dialup.

Download my free stuff here: http://www.renderosity.com/homepage.php?page=2&userid=323368

If you put the mouse over the download you can right click and save link location, then paste it in your browser to start the download. Even on dialup, which I have , its fairly quick.

I've encountered some lagginess from shareCG before, with downloads using dialup, but they have always come through eventually.  I think I did have trouble because of Mozilla running a script blocker or popup blocker, initially.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

I get a little slowness from it sometimes. My (incredibly limited) freebies are there. My only problem is getting 'link-locked' by seeing 'people who downloaded x also downloaded....'.;) they're like potato chips, can't download just one...;)

I never get to the download, just an ad that sits there. I don't think I've signed up so that may be the problem. When I first started using it never had an issue, just in the last few months it has kicked the full page ad with a continue button that never works.

Yep! Been having problems ever since they changed format or whatever. I use FlashGet (download manager) and downloads from ShareCG started crapping out before completing. Apparently they no longer support resume since restarting goes back to the beginning. I've had to give up on some items after multiple attempts. I'm on dialup too so perhaps that's part of the problem.

have you checked your browser settings? Maybe they're using code that's being rejected by that. Just a though.
