Subject: Help with the Poser4 Woman

demarco ( ) posted Thu, 23 September 1999 at 9:07 AM · edited Thu, 14 November 2024 at 12:13 PM

I have tried this before and cant do it. So could someone please take the Poser4 woman and remove the teeth from the head? its for a dental project for school. it would be so helpful. I have more detailed teeth I want to use. Thanks.

Actually I've never tried this, but how about simply making them invisible? Seems like that would be a lot easier... - Jim

you cant, I tried. I have poser 4, is there a way?

Tygerlander ( ) posted Thu, 23 September 1999 at 11:45 AM

What about with transparencies? Tina

grey ( ) posted Thu, 23 September 1999 at 11:46 AM

you can make the teeth and mouth invisibble using transparency maps

demarco ( ) posted Thu, 23 September 1999 at 1:23 PM

even when I use the transparency option it still over laps on the new teeth. they must be removed(any dentists in the house?)I dont care about any other morphs.

Tygerlander ( ) posted Thu, 23 September 1999 at 2:01 PM

I just remembered seeing on The Mall. It was a morph by Craig Krause to remove the teeth and tounge for a wireframe animation, but it's for the casual woman. http://www.loston.net/themall/morph.htm Tina

Thats what I need, a morph that will do what craig did. Thanks Tina, But I wish I knew how to do it myself.

demarco ( ) posted Thu, 23 September 1999 at 2:47 PM

But will it work for Poser 4? I think he made it for p3.

DD ( ) posted Thu, 23 September 1999 at 4:07 PM

You need to adjust transperancy for the skin, lips, eyes, and so on to 100% and falloff to 0.0 otherwise you will get an overlap.

Oh yeah--one more thing. Poser people teeth are not very detailed. If you have the Zygote winding teeth, those would work much better.

demarco ( ) posted Thu, 23 September 1999 at 5:30 PM

I have them thats what i want to use in place of the old teeth

Floydd ( ) posted Thu, 23 September 1999 at 9:42 PM

How did you get rid of the winder on the side? (am I thinking of the right model, the joke teeth with the wind-up crank on the side?)

demarco ( ) posted Fri, 24 September 1999 at 9:16 AM

you just need to click on the windup and hide it, then save the teeth. they look great inside the mouth. very real. thats why I want to get rid of the old teeth.
