Interesting stuff there.  I too try to keep list of imports into Vue that need their materials tweeked afterwards.  Right now I'm having problems with Vue's bumps only working from 4 light positions instead of 360 positions.

Yep.  I thought maybe inverting my bump maps would help.  But Vue Infinite 7 only puts the shading on yet another wrong side of the bumps.  Just instead a cube in your scene and put a bump on it.  Then you'll see that the angle of the shading and object's shadows and does not jive with the direction the light is coming from.

Atomsplitter,
My pleasure! :)

Shawn,
hm, just did some tests on a pyramid, Vue 7 infinite, build 37660, on PC 64 bit and it seems to be ok.
What are your system details, Vue version? :)

You should report this bug to E-On as that's a bad one, for artistic reasons!

I haven't tried 7.2 yet.  It's a minor thing anyway.  The work-around is to rotate or flip or invert the bup map until its shading matches the rest of the scenes shading, as long as just one face of a cube (for instance) is facing the camera.  It's when you see the three sides of a cube and the direction that the sunlight is coming from is where a scene falls apart.

Always good to refresh/review what I'm doing with importing Poser stuff into Vue. Thanks!
