Subject: Propagating scale question.

Can propagating scale be switched off for just one body part?

I want to keep the propagating scale in the figure but I want it to not work with one body part.

It works with the body part and all of its children. If you want to bypass it you'll need to set up some supplementary ERC code.

Could propagating scale be switched off using a pose or script, similar to making body parts visible or invisible?

I don't think so.  Propagating is not really a 'switch' like visibility or bending;
it's a matter of replacing one channel with another.  Poses can sometimes do that,
but in this case it doesn't work.

I tried the pose approach just now, and the result was that the figure
completely disappeared!

I thought that it might not work, thank you for trying.
