hi !

i'm pretty surprise Poser7 doesn't display the time elapsed for rendering.
I understand it is hard to display the time remaining, but the elapsed time is easy !

does anybody have a way to display a clock each time i press the render button ?

no way to tweak poser interface to put this time in the task bar, windows title bar...etc ?

thank by advance !

You may be able to do it in python if you get a return code from the render command .

it is not a easy way..

why E-frontier didn't think to put a clock just below the gauje !

Cause that's the hot new feature they have planned for Poser 8.

Hope so, this is long overdue! I mostly animate and always render as images so can use an explorer window to note frame creation times and then work out how much stoopid TV I can watch before I can get back to Poser again. (Sometimes these calculations tell me to go away for the weekend)

Maybe somebody could bug Stewer and get him to do it!  :P

He already created a Python script that displays the total render time upon the render's completion. https://www.contentparadise.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7511

Meanwhile you could look at Dimension3D's freestuff and try the Render Python script, which does have the option for showing render time.

GREAT freebies there! From what the readme in the Render script says, in terms of showing the time, the script displays this after the render is complete, as does Stewer's.

I'm going to look over the readme again, maybe I missed summat. :p
I must say, I am impressed with the number of options, and versatility of this script!
Many thanks for this link, (I have to send Dimension3D a nice lil' note!) :D
