Subject: Copyright Owner

Hey guys. I know this question is a copyright one and deserves to be in the copyright forum, it is there be assured 😄. However I was advised to post it here too as it may get noticed by those who spend more time on this forum who may help clarify for me.

The question is....

when a photo is taken by a photographer at a studio, who owns the copyright of the photo?
The photographer or the model?

I have been told by one member in the copyright forum that it is the photographer, however the model must give permission for it's use before the photo can be used by the copyright owner (photographer).

If anyone can give input, i'd be greatful.
Cheers guys,
EW

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

I don't mind general discussion about this stuff..But, There is a copyright forum where you can get specific answers from a staff that knows way more about it than the photo team
