Subject: Work space

I have been trying to help a friend of mine as much as I can in Poser 7, The problem we are having, when she deletes Simon, the work space is black.
                        Thank you for any help

Hi Sonja,

Then you can ...

Go to the Library and load a new figure or prop = or = add some lights.

I had her add lights but work space is still black:

Using any camera?

Viewing any Display Style?

Changing background color?

Other ???

Try changing everything and see what happens.

If nothing works, try re-installing Poser.

Could this be a video driver issue?  Check to see if you are using OpenGL or Skree.

Do you mean the preview area where Simon was, or the whole workspace screen?
If it's the whole screen, try clicking on the little paintpot icon in the tools bar and clicking the screen. You should be able to choose the colour you want from the colour picker. If it's the preview window, at the bottom right of the preview screen is a set of four little circles. Click the second one (it should say Background Color at the top of the preview window) and again you should be able to set the colour you want.
