Hi all,

I need a couple of beta testers with Vue7 Complete, Pro Studio or Esprit. I have some testers for Vue7 Infinite, I just need somebody to check out my log cabin in these other versions. If you're interested, please reply here or send me a site mail. Of course, the testers get to keep the model. :)

Thanks!

Sue

Yes, that model looks very good.

Looks like an outstanding model....

Thanks Kenmo! :)

The roof and the chimney have texture maps applied to them. Here's a wireframe screenshot to show the actual geometry. The small preview image looks pretty yucky; please click on it to see the bigger pic. :)

Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound

It maybe a problem with Vue Beta 7.0.

I'll gladly try your model with Pro Studio ver 7.0.  if you need someone with Pro Studio to test... BUT to be honest I'm having alot of problems with ver 7.0 so if it doesn't import it may  not be your model...

Cheers

Ken

Thanks Bobby. :) I think Vue7 Beta can import license-locked objects and plants (bought at C3D), but for other imports you'd need the 3D Import module.

This model will also work in Vue6.

Ken, I sent you a site mail. :)

Thanks, I'm glad you like the model! :) I use XSI.  It's a great program for modeling, I love it. :)

I jsat got into modeling for Vue myself is why i ask. I use Cinema 4D...and i love it as well.:D I was having issues with roofing not to long ago, glad to see it can be achieved with low poly and still look good in Vue. I have 6 Infinite, or i would gladly BETA for ya(;

Yes, Cinema4D is a great program, too. What issues did you have with the roofing?

kenmo ( ) posted Tue, 27 January 2009 at 5:25 PM

I have C4D ver 6 and Hexagon 2.5. But I have to admit my favorite modeler is still Wings3D... Awesome model Sue. Loaded fine into Vue 7.0 Pro Studio. No problems. This is a beautiful model....

bobbystahr ( ) posted Tue, 27 January 2009 at 5:52 PM

Oh well send it along then as I play with the 6 PLE and it imports fine...just renders ugly with watermarks etc...but it's fun and good to at least learn on. just send the link whatever to bobbystahr@renderosity.com.. ...

Ken:
Thank you, that's music to my ears! I appreciate that. :)
I started out with trueSpace. Actually, I tried Anim8or (I think that's the name) first, but didn't get very far with it...

Chudo and Bobby:
Message sent.

Thank you everybody, I have enough testers now. I appreciate the kind words and the help! :)
