In the Rhino forum we have twice monthly competitions. This was my entry. I have had some inquiries into making it Poser ready, which is beyond my abilities. So if their is enough interest I can make it available to all for conversion to Poser. If Yes, what size 1MB, 3 MB, 10MB? What format. OBJ, 3DS or Rhino native format or all three. One mesh or three individual meshes? Please feel free to copy this image and mark on it, then repost to show tips on converting to a poser ready mesh. When I get home tonight (I am at work), I will post another image to more clearly show what I have here. I used Posette as the reference model, not Vicky, sorry :( smerc

If you have pro-pack, it's a breeze. Just import into Poser, hit the setup room tab, choose a dress from the library (to steal it's skeleton. Then follow the manual instructions to tweak the bones and groups, then back to the other room to start posing.

A very very rough idea for a P4 woman, Obj works best for POser characters though 3ds can be converted usually. If I recall correctly, you bring in the model you wish to convert/conform to then make the mesh slices... I wish ye the best of luck smerc.. or maybe one of the clothing gurus will give it a go for you? Cheers

I would LOVE to see this in the free section. Hell, I'd even pay for it, TBH. ^_^

I'd love it if it was for Vicki. Oh well :) It's nice though.

I would be pleased to take a whack at making it conformable, if you're willing. I've made several pieces of conformable clothing. Let me know? :) (OBJ format would be best, or 3ds , but since I'll probably be working with it in 3dsmax it doesn't really matter.) -kimmarcus

I got distracted modeling a tent last night. I'll convert the mesh to obj tonight and post them for all to play with. I will do three individual meshes, with 2-3 different file sizes each so that you can play with the size you are comfortable with. sorry I did not get to it last night :( smerc

The skirt and top were not too bad... Rotate, Scale etc.. The coat although I have managed to get it to fit (see Piccy) behaves in a mysterious fashion when I try to conform it.. I think it is my lack of experience more than anything.. Any takers on the conforming side for the coat...??? You can see in the piccy how it fits on Vicki. The link is for the skirt and top (conformed)
