Subject: were can i get a white backdrop?

hi everyone, im looking for a white backdrop . any advice?

What kind of backdrop?  If you remove the texture from cyclorama or any other backdrop figure, you'll have an instant white backdrop ;)

Try this, just take the texture off of it.

There's some others there as well, just have to hunt for them.  There's a whole photo studio there, I think.    Also, http://nikeimage.hu/ has a great set for studio type renders including nice curtain backdrapes.

PS - If you want something white to cast shadows on, you can also just load up the high-res plane primitive and scale it up for the backdrape.  You could even bone it or use a magnet to bend it if you like.

how do i take the texture off it? i want to render a setee or chair.thanks.

In the Material room, you just delete the texture map :)  Select it with your pointer and hit delete.

theres a free backdrop prop at runtimedna.

There is also a free one in poser called background and another called the flat / one sided square.
