Ok, so i like the Vue 7Xtreme PLE, but whats the deal with the buggy OPENGL ? I can move my meshes around fine, but when i wanna move the camera holy cow what a mess. Jittery and freezing and such. Is there a fix ? A workaround perhaps ?

3 things you can try

In Vue, go to FILE---> OPTIONS-->-DISPLAY
Tick off, scene and, line antialiasing
and also turn off Limit OpenGL polygons

Actually i think the new video card is the culprit. I also have ocassional issues in Cinema 4D, and turning off hardware accelleration did the trick mostly in Vue...well made it about 90% better anyway. I went from and 8800GTS with 640M onboard to a 9600GT with1G onboard and built in PhysX and now alot of my 3D apps run wonkie, even DazStudio. I guess it is the damn NVidia drivers. I will try replacing them with some "aftermarket" ones. Even though my games kick ass.

It has to be the drivers then because i have 4G system RAM. Will let ya know, thanks.

FWIW, the 8800GTS video card is a higher rated card than the 9600GT:

Odd, nVidia usually has the best OpenGL drivers - especially compared to ATI.

Yeah jim, i used to think so as well. I have loved Nvidia since the series 4 and have upgraded religiously. Not until Direct X 10 did my problems start. the 8800GTS was my baby...i loved that card, but a move from Asia to Europe and my pc sitting in a container for a month cooked my card. So i did what i had to do when i got here. As i said, my games run fantastic. Only issues with my art. Even Photoshop CS4 runs like crap. I grabbed some drivers from guru3d. I Will install and see what happens.

WOW !

I got the forceware 185.20 from Guru3D...what a hit. I am running XSream like Vue 5 :D Perfection...i love it. A great great performance increase. They came with the driver, the PhysX and some performance driver for Nvidia. 3000% improvement. Now to go test Cinema and see if my problems are resolved there to. After i start a new thread about this,MAYBE  :P

There is no 185.20 driver.
