Subject: Main Camera question

hobepaintball ( ) posted Tue, 03 February 2009 at 5:50 PM · edited Mon, 10 February 2025 at 2:58 PM

I am working on a scene and I have gotten my Main camera view slightly out of sync with the view it renders. The rendered view is slightly more zoomed in than the view in the view port. this makes it hard to do accurate work, especially in an animation.
I know this is a rooky error, but hey, that's me.

I'm totally blanking on what this might look like...

Could you post a screen shot of what you editor sees, and a render of your frame and an outline of what is missing or shown?

Sorry to answer your question with a question - you're looking for help and I'm not sure what to give.

Lew, I ended up deleting all the cameras, or resetting them all to zero. What would happen is in 4 view, with focus on main camera, or single main camera view I would frame a shot just the way I wanted it to look. Upon rendering the camera perspecive has changed to slightly zoomed, or made more wide angle as sometimes an item at the top of frame may now be off screen.

That's just weird.. Yeah, sorry man, I got nothing.
Hopefully deleting the camera and starting over fixed it...? (not that you should have had to do that)
