...right in germany! aliens on earth! this pic shows my girlfriend in the middle, another friend & me to the left. in this style we earn money from tourists. we stand still as long as nobody gives us money. when someone gives money we move a bit & stand still again. it's a good buisness. let me know what you are doing in your freetime & what you think about it. :) lars

I think that sounds like a cool part time job. Standing still and getting paid for it..

JordyArt ( ) posted Wed, 04 July 2001 at 2:48 PM

urm - wierd. but like Marshy says - easy money. Does it pay well?!? p.s. are you tall or are they pretty short? or both?

slaanesh ( ) posted Wed, 04 July 2001 at 3:01 PM

yeah, easy money it is. when the buisness runs it's 20 dm (deutsch mark) per hour for every one of use. sorry, dont know the exchange to us-$, think it must be around 8-10 $ per hour. btw i'm 2.01 metres tall. my girl is 1.69m & our friend also i think. :) lars

Oh so cool. You can give the silver man is Sf a run for his money. What do you do for kids. You need to get a child to do it. You could be a family!!! Bsteph

Wow, I didn't know you were a performance artist! (Although a bit on the weird and physically challenging side LOL)

w h e r e do you buy your clothes? And, I dont know, have anybody told you, but that color of your face, have you eaten something inapt? g ...seriously, do you know how good job you are doing? I remember every one of those living startues I have seen. Impressive (and hard?) work. ...when I was in London, I almost got heart attack. I actually tought it was a statue. White marble, beautiful woman. And when I got close enoungh, she pinched me. Goddamned, not even statues are staues nowdays. .n

thanx for your kind comments! :) its interesting to see the peoples reactions & play with them. children sometimes fear us but often come straight to us to talk to us or touching us. adults giving the money but often enough wont come to us, just standing 5m away & watching. normally we wave the moneygivers to us to shake hands or touching their noses green. :) @bsteph2069 what means -You can give the silver man is Sf a run for his money.-? my english is not so perfect, so please explain it to me. @ alpha i would be happy if you would take some photos from us! i live in Germany in Dresden. i'm not sure, but you are not from germany, right? @ antoonio i dont buy clothes, make them by myself. lol no, its allways a long way for me to find the right size, esp with shoes (size 13 in english). but i'm happy with my 2 metres. :) yes its hard work. after 6 hours you are really down. phuu... but we are not perfect, its not perfect still standing. some small movements are all the time. thanx again for your fine comments! :) ciao, :) lars p.s.: check my new homepage under www.artitecture.de.vu

No Lars I am not from Germany... I live in Geneva New York in the USA. It is a rural area in the wine region of the state. Very different from New York City. BTW... Your web site is very cool :)

...this is really the last pic now! think its the best one. my girlfriend to the right & me to the left. this is the place in Dresden where we normaly stand. its like a huge terrace over the river Elbe. a very nice place with many tourists. Dresden is a in parts a baroque(?) city. but many parts of Dresden were destroyed at the end of world war 2. and in the former GDR (the eastern part of the former divided germany) was no rebuilding but instead they erected new & very ugly buildings, which destroyed the face of the city. and so the last baroque(?) buildings are very famous. ciao, :) lars
