Subject: Little exclaimation point sign?

Little exclaimation point sign? When I load a material a little exclaimation point sign appears for a second then the material turns grey. What is the problem a lot of my loaded materials do this or won't load at all. Help! Please Thanks.

The exclamation point usually means that the material preview is not refreshed. That usually happens when you checked the "Disable automatic material preview rendering", in File->Options->General preferences->Preview options.

But this exclamation point doesn't mean your material didn't load or isn't working. It affects only the preview, nothing more. But you say they don't load. What do you mean by this? If you render them, do they not work correctly?

"But you say they don't load. What do you mean by this? If you render them, do they not work correctly?" No they flash a preview then go gray ???

But I see on the preview that the render seems correct. That was my other question. I asked if the render was correct, and apparently it is, judging by the preview. Do you confirm this?

So, if the render is correct, they do load, only the preview in the material editor is not correct. Did you check the setting that I mentioned? Is it on or off?

Anyway, from what I can see in the image you posted, not everything can be explained by the setting I mentioned. Something seems wrong, probably a bug. I'd suggest that you reinstall and, if it doesn't work, post a ticket to e-on.
