Attached Link: http://www.adobe.com

This proggie is in its beta testing form at the moment, with everything available directly at adobe.com. This is beyond mad cool. I'm attemptng building a virtual online thingie or something, i duno, but its cool. Click the product link at adobe.com, then click Adobe atmosphere's link, and take a look. This is mad cool.

See. And you thought it would not work! I still havent gotten around to using it though. How fast does it load? Bsteph

Honestly, it depends. If there are some people on that specific page, it's laagggyyyy. But when there's no one, it just zips. Its still beta though, so i dunno. Im working on my own little crappy virtual world now too. the software for creating the worlds runs well, but MAN is it ever limiting... you get blocks, tiles, triangles, and cylinders, and thats about it. Still, its a chellenge... ry

The program permanently junked out on me, dumb beta software. That was short lived. ry

Do what ever you did last time we spoke. Makes sense that they are limiting you to basic primitives. I have heard that the mathmatics for curved surfaces is rough. So KISS rules ( Keep It Simple Stupid ) that program. I'll try it out and report back hopefully over the weekend. I rmember that there were a couple such sites. Years ago. Boy they were slow. I hpe this is better. Bsteph

Just as slow as it was before hun. Not only that, but there was this one site I tried about 2 years agi I believe, and I remember the world being MUCH larger andm ore complicated. This technology is new, so maybe in a few years it'll be better, but I'm staying away for now. ry
