I was in the process of tweeking the 'Natural' material from the landscapes collection and all of a sudden this happend. Has anyone else run across this or have any ideas? Thanks Rich

Which "this" is this? You were adjusting the terrain material and a barricaded wall popped up? :)

You know Varian, that was really funny... I'm still laughing.. I think he means the white on the ground...

Probably, but you can't be too sure when speaking of material in Landscapes, right? I think maybe Rich is building a scene from the Land of Milk and Honey, and someone mixed the two together and poured it into the river basin. You think? ;)

I'm betting he's talking about those horizontal lines on the sides of the cliffs. Hmmm.. are they tall enough to be called cliffs?

You gotta point there Mike..

Greetings, Strange squared lines indeed, I suggest looking first at the material filter (color and/or bumps, both probably), since it since to appears at low altitudes only. Herv

Ok, so it stinks so far! lol Its only about 10 minutes work. I was refering to the black banding. Rich

It definitely does not stink! I was just having a bit of fun at not knowing what you were referring to. See, that means nothing terrible stood out for me, because it looks good...like it's unfinished yet, but a really good start on something. :) No idea what those bands might be. You could check the color map(s) for the material, just to see if that darker color is included.

Well, I'm glad to hear that the snow is one of the new textures...

Sometimes changing the bump blending method (full cubic, cover, linear, etc.) can make a difference.
