Well, if you have XStream at work then i would get Infinite for home, becase you will be missing alot of the fun stuff only XStream and Infinite have :D
Why eat ground meat when you have serloin ya know(;

Hi Chris,
It all depends on how extensive you would like to get into the program. To me, Vue 7 Infinite is the best for your money, but if you are just a hobbyist, Vue 7 Complete is the way to go. It allows you basically the same accesss to the features in Infinite, but not quite 100% and the end result is just as nice. But if you are serious and use the program often, then Vue 7 Infinite is the way to go. You would have to try all the versions in order to come up with the correct one for you. So I suggest you do that before you just go out and purchase it.
Hope this helps!
Rich
thanks for all the input ... working with vue all day in the office i would have thought that at home i want to take a break and do something else ... thoughts can be wrong!
this software - even with all its potential quirks, bugs and pecularities (although i have to admit i have been treated nice by vue so far) - is just so addictive! so i guess i have to get a new pc and a new big vue for home.
will have to start budget talks with my lady :-)

and after you compared complete/infinite features, think if it would have opted to go for complete at the moment if you knew there is a way to upgrade to infinite in the future without enormous money penalties. If you think it would have helped you , post to the thread Linked. (Posting that there doesnt imply you are a vue/e-on hater, I'm not, quite the contrary) Have fun whichever choice you make!"I paint that which comes from the imagination or from dreams,
or from an unconscious drive. I photograph the things that I do not
wish to paint, the things which already have an
existence."

for some time now i am working with xStream at work and play around at home with PLE.
but for two reasons i am starting to consider buying a "real" version for home.
one is that when i am rendering and tying up 5 pc's at work i simply have to go home to do stuff. the other is that my kid also starts to like vue and we are thinking of doing something with vue.
now with the PLE you cannot exchange files and you have the watermarks.
so i am asking myself (and all you guys!) what would be the best vue to compliment the office version.
any experience or ideas?
