This may have been asked before and if it has you can shoot me, but would it be possible to have TWO Poser Galleries? The first would be your regular poser gallery but no nudity is allowed. Meaning no naked breasts, muffs or butts. The other would be for the nudes. I would say keep the restrictions of no "sex" and all those rules, to keep it from becoming Renderotica (a site I like btw). I think this would solve several problems. 1) It would minimize complaints about the Top 20 for Poser. 2) It would minimize the complaints from the "I hate big breast crowd." 3) It would allow people like me to access the poser gallery from work or school without risking our jobs or enrollment. Sound good or should I just sit back down and shut up? :)

There is an option on your Profile page to hide the nude images. Look for "My Profile" on the sidebar.

it took me a week to find that profile option too, also for work reasons. :) i know that foreheal slap sound! ;)

Your most valid point would be #1 - The Top 20...catch 20. Let me say this first...I Love, women, naked women, and yes even naked women with any size breasts, much less the big Poser breasts, that's not the problem. That being said, it can be kinda frustrating when you yourself or someone else you know has (what you believe) to be a good enough (no-nude) render to make it to the Poser Top 20. But wait! You forgot the Catch 20! Unless your pic has a big breasted naked woman in it...it probably won't make it...frustrating, yes. Me upset? Honestly, not really. 1. I just now render my Poser's with Bryce, have a better chance in the Bryce Top 20, usually...sometimes. 2. The Top 20 really isn't my goal, just getting better is. No, really...it is. 3. The people (nude renders) who Make it to the Top 20 Poser are (usually) Freakin' Masters at skin textures, they blow me away and deserve to be up there, no doubt. I think it would be a good thing to have a nude and a no-nude Poser gallery. It would give more Poser people a better chance at making it up to a Top 20. It's a true confidence builder. Do I think two Poser galleries will ever happen? Uhhh...doubt it. I guess I had better get a lot better at texturing skin...;o)

I think its a damn good idea... :) Give people who don't do nudes a chance to get a bit of recognition. All the best, Dal

I would like the split too. And if we are at changes already, how about 2 or 3 categories for voting eg. Overall (thats the value already in use) Composition/Idea (regardless technical problems or otherwise not "perfect" but a great idea) Technical for techinical achievments) Would be much more interesting IMHO. i just took a tour of the Bryce top 20--and a nekkid lady is number 1! ROFL! Ya just can't get away from them, can ya? But at least stuff like Gevidal's wonderful, moody architecture is up there, too. And this Lovecraftian canyon thing... Funny, i don't go by what i rendered in to decide what gallery to place in, but by what the focus is. Not that it actually matters. It's just really nice to see what people are doing and be inspired, challenged, or amused. As comentators upon gallery postings, we can always put our separated out (composition/technical/mood) scores in the comments section.

i,ve already posted this very topic in feedback i have no problem with nudes in artworks of any kind but i do get tired of wading through page after page of character studies before i get to see any art

hey i,m not against character studies or nudes in any way at all all i,m saying perhaps the poser galleries should be split into two catergories one for nudes and character studies one for pics and as far as i,m aware it is OK to post characer studies stu-art

stu-art, i was just kidding, really. Actually, the categorization you suggest would probably take care of concerns about the gallery turning in to a store preview area, and would eliminate some confusion on that topic. Actually, i LIKE store previews--i get a very good idea of what's coming up that way. So, "Character Studies" is a nice way of doing that. Should we send these ideas to the Community Ideas forum?

im glad to hear you were just kidding im not here to make enemies ,just to share thoughts and my stuff i,ve already sent my ideas to the community listen guys im not against studies or adverts or whatever just put them in the right gallery is all i check out the previews as well ive even posted character pics myself it,s just that the poser gallery is probably the the biggest one here perhaps its time to catorgerise it stu-art
