Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 11 12:18 am)
The no nipple is set to 1.000 so it does not have to be adjusted for Conforming Tops (avoid poke-through)
Miki 2.0 is the same... off hand I am not sure about Jessi, but I suspect it is the same. Part of the difference is older figures use to have Nipple Morphs, so it would be zero and applying it would reveal the nipple mesh. These figures the Nipple is revealed in the default figure and the No Nipple morph hides the nipple.
Not sure about the other morph...I do not see it on the Sydney I opened. All the Morphs are set to Zero on the default Sydney's Head.

Ratscloset, thanks for the info on the nipple - yeah that makes sense why - and so now I know that for all people who just leave Syd at default, she is flaccid :-( ..... OK that helps so If I was to share Syd morphs, I may have to take that into account or do the morphs as injection with that changed if it turns out to be a factor........
the other morph is HEAD-> MORPHS-> EYES-> and at the top of this eyes morphs list is LACRIMAS- ( the lacrimas are located at the inner corners of the eyes)
THIS ONE is a real mystery - do you see your default at 1.0000 ?

I found that... it is in the Poser 7 version, not the Poser Pro Version. I am trying to find out what it does or why it is there.. most likely something that did not get removed after working on the Head. Changing does not seem to have any impact, so it may just be an empty dial that did not get cleared.

As far as I know there's no nipple morph for Sydney... Which is why I made one. It's in my Free Stuff here for those who wants it :)
(and in the Five Free Faces for Sydney there's also a morph to make the huge ledge that is her lower eyelid a little prettier ;) )

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
Hey Rats - the Lacrimas is actually a problem - well, because I DID NOT turn it to zero before creating my face morph ( oops!!)
and you are right - you cannot see any effect from it whether it is at 1 or 0 , so i did not think to turn it to zero before creating the morph
so now the problem is, If i was to share this Syd face morph with someone, they would apply it, and contained in my morph is the value "1" for lacrimas, and the person trying my morph is factory default on Sydney at "1" for Lacrimas as well....so you get "double Lacrimas", or Lacrimas value of "2" when you apply the morph and it looks real bad. like two big bumps the size of fingerprints located in the spots where eyeglass pads would rest on the sides of the nose.
if I was on my poser machine I would show you a shot of it.
so i cannot share this morph WITHOUT a warning that people need to turn Lacrimas to "0" ...and that is kinda cheesy to have to tell people if you are offering them something.
and because I morhped the nipples as well, from a Sydney whose nipples were NOT turned off, I have to warn people to turn the nipplies off to "0". Cheeseness.
Trekkie I havebeen to your site before you have some cool stuff I am intrigued about the eyelids thing - gonna check it out to-nite. I hate btheway the eyelid skin seems "thick", like there is a "shelf" like you said.
speaking of G2 eyelids, have you noticed how on the backside of the upper eyelids of G2 there is a weird little square shaped piece of mesh that hangs down a little? Ztran an eyeball back a little bit, you'll see it. I mean WTF?
Thanks

Quote - Also be careful when you create your own custom morph taregts .Some of the embedded magnets are not set to zero by default.so your morphs might look different from what you expect.
Hmmmmm.. have not noticed a problem in this area yet with G2 female heads and most of the body parts including hips. BUT I have noticed with G2 females : if you increase the size of the breasts significantly with magnets and then make a .obj morph target, when you later apply this morph target to a fresh G2 female, there is a crazy indentation in the front of the breasts, like a porn shower scene with the boobs up against glass....and I always wondered if that is related to the damn embedded nipple mags, or maybe something else.
so then the question...... :If I DELETE the morph dial for " no NIpples" in a G2 base figure, am I deleting the embedded magnets?
I think not.
I probably have to hack those embedded mags out of the CR2, no?
Thanks

If you accidentally included a morph setting that you didn't want in the final character, do this:
Apply your custom morph, which I'll call MorphA (which includes the unwanted MorphB).
Set the MorphB dial to -1, assuming it was originally set to 1 (or -0.5 if it was set to 0.5, and so on).
Spawn a new morph, say MorphC - this will be your final morph.
You can delete MorphA now, if you like.
as a follow up -
Yes thanks Timberwolf - you are dead on.
for some reason, Sydney has some embedded breast mags that have NOTHING to do with any of the basic "surface-accessible" chest morphs that show up in the parameters window.
In the hiearchy I found , and then was able to nuetralize, magnets called " L breast inner full" and " R breast inner full" ..... don't know why these mags are embedded but you cannot acces them as a regular chest morph for sydney, maybe they are a "support" magnets for the morph parameters of " side to side" , or "up/down"
These "inner-full" embedded magnets are what were ruining my large breasts morphs.

HI - a little important research here -I was hopin' many people could chime in:
IF you have Sydney G2 in your figures library and you got her as included with Poser 7,
can you tell me if the default params ( the .cr2 in the unaltered form that it came from smith micro) when she loads up are as follows: for the eye lacrimas (head) morph is the dial set to "1" and the "no nipples" chest morph is the dial set to "1"
I know how to change it in the .cr2 file , but my point is I want to know if the general Poser public received Sydney with these defaults set to "1"
Thank you
P.S> , and actually for those of you who like and really know the Poser figures well, do you happen top know if Jessica amd Miki 2.0 come from S.M. with those same morphs default at "1"
