Cool shot Adam!  That's perfect.

See how fast RJ and I shut up when there are pictures to look at?  :)  That's the secret ... keep us busy, and we'll behave ourselves!

Well I finally quit waiting for the weather to cooperate and got out today in the gloomy wet rainy day. It let up on the rain long enough for me to walk around this oriental garden I stumbled upon in a forest preserve.

The garden itself wasn't open (fenced round) but the fence was only waist high with exception of the gate itself, which became my frame for the bridge.

Lots of wonderful shots here and we're just in the first week of the month.  I'm looking forward to seeing lots more!

Nice shot, Yvonne!  Wow ... awesome!

Auntie you are very correct, more pictures means better behaviour :)

mbz  you found em :)   Hardy-har-har. indeed , what's all this about blondes, are unable to do anything constructive?...My mother was blonde, and she gave birth to Meeeeeee:))

Yvonne, this is absolutely lovely, well done.

It's true ... pretty pictures mean we're all happy and entertained already.  :)

Just where does one find a 10 foot pole anyway?   I've never seen a slovic  that tall...

Another shot while out yesterday in the rain. (which it's still doing today, may have to break out the ark soon)

There was a small sign that labeled this as the "boat house"  but there was narry a boat in sight. Still and all, it did fit the criteria for this month's challenge despite the lack of any arks, canoes, rowboats or other modes of water conveyance.

Lovely uploads here  however,in reading the rules which was last week or maybe longer ,
were we aloud to use photo shop to frame??or not, also allowed to take photos in our home  with frames adding a frame toit lol
I know I have lots of questions perhaps I should go back and read the rules once more
I thought once the blonde  hair was gone and the gray set in I would be wiser (who said that ?
lol

auntietk ( ) posted Sun, 08 March 2009 at 4:17 PM

Oh dear, now I've up and made Ronnie cry.  I'm sorry, my sweetie!  Will you still love me?  I'm sending you a kiss on the cheek, which is infinitely more special than just a random blown kiss.

Well, Evielouise  " thought once the blonde  hair was gone and the gray set in I would be wiser "

You ARE wiser, the downside is that about the time grey hair and wisdom show up, so does short term memory loss. So, while you now know more, you just tend to forget what you know more of ....

Ginko Biloba is supposed to help with ST memory loss, that is IF you can remember to take it.

Here's another one from my trip to the home center on Wednesday.  I really was thinking about you guys while I was there!  :)

Just LOOK at all those frames in frames, and frames through the frames, and above, and and and ... it was all a little overwhelming.

I don't know if this qualify for this forum, but here is something special i saw at the Union Buildings. This small Rainbow is framed in between the trees and i did add my own frame as well.

PD154 ( ) posted Mon, 09 March 2009 at 6:05 PM

Well the trees are framing the rainbow, so I'd say yeah it pretty much fits Christo :)

Funny how I notice these kind of shots all the time while I'm outside (or inside for that matter lol) I'm sure I must have a few of these somewhere!!!.

Been busy recently but I WILL be posting on this challenge.

Awesome work everyone!

auntietk ( ) posted Wed, 11 March 2009 at 8:53 AM

It's funny ... as much as I've been focused on this idea the past week and a half, I posted something in my gallery a couple days ago and decie pointed out it was a frame-within-a-frame ... and I hadn't thought about it!    (Thanks, decie!)  :)

I"m loving what everyone is posting back here.  I've been busy, and have been looking but not saying anything.

Awesome work, everybody!  :)

Some of you may recognize this old house, I captured it in previous challenges, today I went there just before sunset. The place is awesome and one can still hear people breath in its rooms.

dedicate this to a man well known to people frequenting this challenge: Welcome aboard Ronnie! It's about time YOU do something for the community! I hope you have fun my friend.
