Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 06 7:01 am)
Wow! This is great. I had to run it several times, just because it's so fascinating. What a GREAT looking character. And shame on you for teasing us with that cowl that's not available to the public. I would love to have something like that. Oh well, such is life. Thanks for sharing that. I really enjoyed it (and BTW, he looks STUNNING!!!!) ;) Melanie
Ah, I didn't do anything hardly on this, it's mainly LadyLight and Chris Derochie, but thank you. :-) The cowl and tunic don't like each other, and are 'sparring for the foreground' there. That's my fault, not LadyLights - and it won't be in the final game. Layered clothing inside of Poser doesn't work too slick, but outside of Poser, it's not a problem - just lay down the tunic bitmap first, then the cowl bitmap, and voila! no more fighting polygons.
That's the Wonder Wedge hair available at Daz. You have to own the Wedge Haircut for Michael to use it. I bought both at the same time, just to use on the P4 figures. The AVI is just a preview animation, in the game it will be a tad slower than that. I had the fps set to 10 instead of 8. The reason for the low frame rate, is there will be up to 300 graphics on the screen at the same time! Having a framerate of 10 fps makes it more likely they will all display in a decent amount of time. The game is called 'Incarnation', and it's open for testing. Right now it's just a chat engine - but the last version we were walking, chatting, building rooms, collecting objects, sitting, and more. I just haven't gotten to that point yet again, but it's coming soon! For those that are interested, I worked on the game for about 2 years, then started over on the graphics and the engine. This way, I am able to use the knowledge I have gained, to build something better. Do any of you guys ever throw out your early work? :-D Well, I do too! And that's why we're farther behind than we WERE... but farther ahead, quality-wise and graphics-wise. The URL if you want to see it develop, is www.kamilche.com. It's open for players right now.

I bet you guys have never seen James Bond cavort like THIS before! :-D This animation still has some tweaks to go, but this preview AVI turned out so well I had to show you guys. The character texture and cowl came from the super-talented LadyLight, and is not available to the public. The animations are 10 fps, and most of them came from Chris Derochie's Poseamation CD, available at http://www.the-forge.ie. The tunic I commissioned from Zygote, and is for sale at Daz3D. The pants are the 'medieval garb' pants by Catherine Todd, also available at Daz3D. For those of you who might not know, I'm a computer programmer making an online multiplayer graphical adventure game called "Incarnation", viewable at www.kamilche.com. I've been working on it for a few years now, and let me tell you, it's been quite the learning curve! I've owned Poser since version 2, and watched it get better and better over the years, and yes, that's how long I've been working on this game. :-P But when it's done, I do believe I'll have one of the hottest online games around.
