Ease up on me maz, I am new to all this lol...
yeah I have one more left for this amazing challenge, and I can't think of anything at the moment, and I have been scouting tons of locations and ideas, maybe I can't find the wood for the trees lol.

I didn't look to see how long ago you last posted in this thread, Marilyn, but the ebots will discontinue after a certain length of time if you aren't posting in it. Perhaps its all fixed now with your post above???

Wow ... great stuff! Looks like I missed a bunch over the past day or so.
I haven't forgotten that I've got one more space to fill here! :) I'm still thinking. Got some possibilities ... but ... there might be something better later!

Yup, I have been here at renderosity since the year 2000 on and off Piet, I have deleted my galleries four times in all, but still come back here, guess I am a glutton for punishment in one way or another :)
I'll just relax now and post my one image a day and enjoy this comunity.

I woke up today - just now!! - from my three-month wintersleeping season and saw that we have the 20th of march!!!! So hurry up, boy, get your butt up for the contest! And here I am with my first entry:
A wonderful theme, but I had a little problem with the understanding at first: A frame in the frame? Whats that? What are they meaning? Did I understand right? So I studied the first entries here...
At 3rd of march one of my typical photo tours began:
Searching only for a lost house number at one of my older pics, it ended up with a bunch of 300 new pics (Uff... it ends often in this way....).
And suddenly I have got a lot of frames: Doorways, shop windows, house entrances and some very special stuff, the whole city seemed full of it!! It is one of my special interests to have a hidden look into fine houses and their stairways and elevators, into secret backyards and their treasures ... I love looking-thrus; Berlin is a paradise for stuff like that.
This here was my first idea this day: It shows a looking - thru to a second-hand shop with a fine puppet inside.... I thought two frames are better than one....
Hope you enjoy it.
Friends, its a great contest as the one from last month! Its pure fun and we have a lot of good entries here and great bundle of ideas! Very fine!!!! Thanks to all!
Hey there guys!
Oh Ronnie, it is GOOD to see you back! * blows kisses like mad * Stick around, Babe ... we all love you!
I'm here, Piet ... checkbooks are done ... but it's been a busy week! I know you'll be shocked (SHOCKED, I tell you! ) to hear that sometimes real life intrudes into my life here on RR! Don't worry ... all is well. (But it's nice to be missed. Speaking of that ... you haven't been around much all month, so ...pptthhhhppptttttt!! ... no room to talk! I hope you're back from your break - it's nice to see you!)
Love the work with mirrors Piet and bakapo, and the second hand shop is too cool, Billcody!
I took some shots of the front of my computer, but they didn't turn out. There's a frame-within-a-frame aspect there ... ah well ... I'll find something else. I've still got ten days!

The best thing at contests like this is the fun everybody seem to have. And I´m astonished again how different the examples here are and what a bundle of creativity comes together! Well done all together! And the last new entries are great, too!
And this is my second:
I took it in a Berlin subway station. This pic is from a monitor at the front of the station, where the train stops. Somewhere is a camera who catches all, and the subway driver, looking at the monitor, can see if everybody is in and safe....
Its a wonderful thing:
The driver can do all things alone, and his collegue looses his job...so everybody is satisfied, or not? This system is cheap, and a video camera isn´t ill. We call this process "progression". Modern times, comrades, modern times.........
And:
No, I´m not the one on the monitor, and it isn´t my mother or my girlfriend - I was only the photographer....................LOL
I took this because he is doing something with a "framed" in structure. (demolishing, salvaging, burning... etc.) And so I framed it in with my window trim. You can see the little wooden church looming in the foreground.
I only have a few days left to find 2 more?!? Hmmm...
I kid-proofed my house but they STILL get in!!
I thought it must be something special, and when I did the other frames I found this here, too. It is a very strange frame - a part of the BERLIN WALL, and behind the wall stands a great colorful tourist bus and waits for a traffic light.........
These holes in the wall are handmade by angry Berlinians when the wall felt and the communistic Germany felt in pieces. Only a few parts of the WALL is in its origin, for tourists and for remembering this sad history.
This snapshot is a miracle (LOL) because it was a giantic work to create this three frames:
-Thousands of construction workers had to build a massive wall around a whole city with 2,5 million inhabitants;
-these workers needed a giantic mountain of material and money to pay it;
-tenthousands of policemen and frontline troupers had to watch that nobody got lost in a time of more than 28 years;
-nearly thousand persons were killed as victims, more then 100 between Berlin and Berlin;
-hundredthousands inhabitants of Berlin needed all their energy to hack holes in the wall to create these frames - and this here is the result of their working: Frames, dozens, hundreds, thousands, all good fine handmade.........
I hopeyou enjoy it. Have fun! What kind of contest will bring us the next month?
