Subject: My Eyes! My Eyes! Now that's what I call snowblind... :-)

Ahem,... this new colour scheme is,... well,... "interesting". I just can't see anything, but apart from that it looks quite cool. Nevertheless I would prefer to read the message topics again (without my eyes rotating up and down trying to focus... :-) so I would enjoy to restore it to the previous settings in my profile. Could anyone tell me the old (hex) settings? I suppose I could re-contstruct it using an older saved thread, but if you could just tell me the settings it will save me a lot of work... Many thanks in advance... :-)

PS: Your new settings have the same colour for links and visited links - isn't that an itsy bitsy too stylish??

Here are the old color settings: Background: #000000 Text: #FFFFFF Link: #FFCC00 Vistied Link: #FFFFCC Color 1: #006600 Color 2: #339933

Ahh thanks... :-) :-) :-) I actually like the new background hues and will leave them, but I can't live without the yellow(s) for message topics - without a clear contrast against black it's completely unreadable for me. I tried plain yellow ("FFFF00") and it looked horrible, but the "CC" does the trick... Thanks again. A suggestion: Any possibility for a button with the alternative settings? For everyone with reduced eyesight it will be a relief to get a simple way to set everything to a higher contrast.

Alternative settings? I don't understand. They can change the colors to whatever they like via their Profile. Isn't that a near infinite number of alternative settings? :)

I mean a simple button that dumps alternative hex values into the fields. Could be one button that sets the fields to your new default values, and one that fills in values for higher contrast. I could have worked out any old (or good new) values on my own, but there might be many users who don't really know what "ABCDEF" means... :-) For strange reasons, the color popup refuses to work with iCab - I'm not sure why, but I will check it. However, there are people without JavaScript as well, and then the hex values might be a bit of a challenge for some...

Ok, I added to my list the possibility of creating several color schemes, which could be selected from the Profile page. Thanks.

Just found the iCab problem - sorry, my fault. Opening new windows was disabled for Renderosity... must have been a wrong click of mine some time ago... That option (of course) makes it easier as well, but if you can offer a choice of instant schemes it will be great. Many thanks for your good work!

Don't know if this is the right place, but I wan't to say that I really like the new default colours. Since my eyes are a little more light senstive than normal, this is very pleasing for me.

There are now buttons on your Profile page to select the new or old color scheme.
