Hi all

 I'm new to carrara and I've just been trying out importing a poser scene into carrara express. All is well except for the eyes on the v4 character which have rendered black.  I've tried to have a look through the shaders and they seem ok so I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and know of a solution. Everything else renders fine. Need to work out SSS for the skin mind - anyon know of any good tutorials for good skin shaders for v4 etc.

 Any help gratefully recieved.....

Hi welcome to Carrara world.

When using Vic or other object that use transparency and Sky Light you need to turn on the option for transparency.

cheers for that - think it also may be because of shadows falling on face and eyes - tried adding a bit of glow and that seemed to do the trick.

I use to use Transposer and don't have such a problem...
