Poser Technical F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 04 2:47 am)
Welcome to the Poser Technical Forum.
Where computer nerds can Pull out their slide rules and not get laughed at. Pocket protectors are not required. ;-)
This is the place you come to ask questions and share new ideas about using the internal file structure of Poser to push the program past it's normal limits.
New users are encouraged to read the FAQ sections here and on the Poser forum before asking questions.

Probably nothing.
If your trying to install to PoserPro the executable is named differently from plain Poser, and (even if this isn't the problem) the solution is to choose "DAZ Studio" as the installation type.
This will let you install to any Runtime without the (pointlessly annoying) check for Poser.exe

I am not sure this is the correct forum to post this in, but I am hoping it is.
I recently downloaded the free M4Base at Daz, but when I try to install it, this is the message I am getting:
When used with Poser TM, "Michael 4 Base" must be installed to the same directory as the application executable due to the restrictions on support file location.
Please select the directory that contains your Poser executable.
The problem is that the directory I am trying to install it in IS the directory with my excecutable file in it. Could someone please advise me as to what, if anything, I am doing wrong?
Many thanks in advance.
