There was a thread about this a few years ago (see link) which might be helpful.Steve
Thank you for the comments Rutra, I am going to give that a go, yeah it has to be Vue, I don't own Geo-control, though I would like to :)
And thanks for the link Spedler, going to try Rutra's method first and see how I go, thanks again :)

Thanks again Rutra, very helpful, going to give it a blast right now :) I haven't made any images recently where I have spent a long time on them and I wanted my next image to be something special, so pulling in a lot of ideas.
Thanks again mate

GeoControl2 operates as a fully functional demo for the first 30 days if you want to give it a shot. It has a bit of a learning curve but Cajomi has some great video tutorials available in the GC forums and it is well worth the time to watch them (particularly those on isolines and selectors) and then try your hand at creating what you want.
Thanks Triangle, I have used the demo and my time is up, I can't afford it right now, some time in the future maybe :)

Rutra,
I tried editing the function but I am using Vue 7 Complete, on mine the perlin noise node has 2 inputs not one as in your screenshot, which is the one to connect too?
Thanks

That test was made with Vue6 (my Vue7 is rendering now). Anyway I went now to Vue7 and I'm not sure what you mean. After creating a procedural terrain, I only changed this in the terrain editor:
Thanks for the info Rutra, I am on my netbook right now but when I get back to the home PC I will send a screen shot of what I meant :)

Hi,
I am starting a new scene and before it drives me completely insane, how do produce nice "smooth" rolling hills? All I get are jagged hills that look, just plane awful, I can't seem to get the smoothness to make a hill?
Think of green fields of England to get an idea of what I am trying to do.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Jon
