Subject: Cornucopia 3D need to die in a fire

So I get this e-mail that an item I purchased form C3D was updated. So I go there. I log in, check all the (as far as I can tell. there's a lot of them) boxes, get to the download screen. I have two options. Download items 1 to 10 or 10 to 16. Either takes an estimated -3 minutes. I'm still waiting!

In future I only buy from Rendo or DAZ3D.

That is a particularly unpleasant post heading, ......................go away.

The problem is probably on your side. I just went there now, clicked on My Account, then on Show Purchases and then I downloaded one of the items, a 20MB one. It downloaded in 3 minutes or so, at a steady rate of 100KB/s. It was all very simple and, though it wasn't the fastest download I've ever seen, it wasn't too slow either.

Regardless of where the problem lies, I also think the thread title is not a good one.

If you had to choose bteween all these items, it means you decided to redownload all the content you have already bought at Corn, not the updated item.
You need to read the instructions better I think.
And the title is really a bad choice.

I also had to redownload some purchases recently. Everything worked just fine.

Disgraceful thread title, BTW.

A totally disgusting title and a prime candidate for moderation (I hope) 😠

I am far from being a C3D fanboy but download speeds have never been a problem for me and neither has their filing system.

Do we have moderators on this forum? I mean active ones?

ponders this a minute...
Well, at least I have an excuse for the way I screw things up, or get things the wrong way around etc!

bad thread title, as folk note, try being humorous or polite about problems, BEFORE you pull out the flamethrower, it does help diffuse possible fireworks :)

Yes, good idea!  It WOULD be better to just purchase products from Rendo or DAZ3D in the future. They don't automatically notify you of updates, nor do they provide updates free of charge. So, if you purchase only from them, you will never experience this kind of problem.

Gareee ( ) posted Sun, 29 March 2009 at 6:16 PM

Same deal here.. I still don't have the updates. And personally I don't care one way or another about the topic title.

Nice that they sent an email about the updates.. nicer if I could get them.. LOL!

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.
