If the comment in your gallery includes a question about the image, the setting, equipment/software used, artistic intent, etc. ... then you might want to supply that answer/response "in-line" ...
After all, others viewing the gallery entry and seeing the question might want to see your answer ... and that you gave an answer.
IOW, all of that effort shows Courtesy and builds Reputation.
On the internet, what else do we have?

If I post something to the galleries and comments are mode about it, how do I acknowledge those comments?
I feel silly just seeing them there and not replying, but I assume that the only one told about comments to my shots is me.
