If I post something to the galleries and comments are mode about it, how do I acknowledge those comments?

I feel silly just seeing them there and not replying, but I assume that the only one told about comments to my shots is me.

ya can site-mail 'em to thank 'em fr the comment, or even reply to their comment with yer own comment under yer image.

p.s. it's also possible to post images and animations in the comment field.  in case anybody asks.  not that I'm gonna do it, mind ye. :lol:

If someone liked your upload, why not see what's in their gallery that you like well enough to leave a comment.

Yes, I have thought about that. I guess I am just used to a forum-based approach, where comments and replies are "in line"

Aaaaaaahhhhh ... I thought of another point ...

If the comment in your gallery includes a question about the image, the setting, equipment/software used, artistic intent, etc. ... then you might want to supply that answer/response "in-line" ...

After all, others viewing the gallery entry and seeing the question might want to see your answer ... and that you gave an answer. 

IOW, all of that effort shows Courtesy and builds Reputation. 

On the internet, what else do we have?
