Went and looked up Kerkythea and downloading it now.  Thanks for mentioning it!

Interesting, ice-boy. So they fixed AO with transmaps? I wrote a bug report on this a long time ago. I don't remember reading that it was fixed but it sure looks like it was.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

look i am 100% sure that i used transparency and AO. but this is to much IMO now. sometiems it works and sometimes not? whats this? do we need a special model?

i used glyn hair from DAZ3d

i have been reading some sites for an hour now and it looks like AO on transparency is very slow even in softwares like 3DSmax.

my poser pro is going nuts. there is something wrong with my software or am i on drugs.
why is now the ball ignoring AO? why is the plane with transparency having AO ? 
yesterday it ignores the transparency . then the next time its the other way around.

In case anyone didn't hear, FlyerX has a beta of PoseRay with Kerkythea export. There's a thread here somewhere and in the Kerkythea forums.
