Greetings and Salutations All,

I am having a problem getting my V4 to pose a certain way. I have enclosed a JPEG as an example. I'm interested in the upper body portion, getting the arms to pose in that crossed position. It doesn't have to be exact.

Many Thanks in Advance,
Viper

Please spay and neuter your pets. Strongly consider shelter adoption before spending $500 to $1000. If you MUST part with that kind of money for a pet, go to your local shelter, donate the money to them and pickup a highly adoptable pet. The shelters could sure use the donation.

You might need to turn OFF "Use Limits."
= OR =
Change the "Limits" (min-max) settings for the body part that you can not adjust.

Just a couple of thoughts. 😄

Actually.. what you need is to rotate the "shoulder" (which, for some reason is what Poser calls the Upper Arm) NEVER EVER use side/side on the elbow. Real elbows can't do that. And it will look artificial if you try :)

I don't think V4 loads with Limits On - Poser defaults to Limits Off and you have to hardcode it to  make sure it's on.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

I think that's IK you're talking about there... the Limits On / Off option is stored in the scene file (pz3).

Well I've always had to hardcode it for the props that require Limits On (such as doors and drawers)

So I was talking about Limits and not IK. MAY be different for bipedals and props though. I wouldn't be surprised if it was somehow connected to the presence of a "hip" part :) Poser is odd like that.
