Subject: Shake modifier

I was trying to use the shake modifier on an object and I was wondering how do you set it for a specific amount of time for the object to shake for. I was able to set a start point for the object to shake but I couldn't set an end point, it just keeps on shaking until the end of the animation. If I have an animation of 10sec., I want my object to start shaking at 5sec. and stop at 7sec., how do I do this?

Thanks....

One way to do it would be to select the modifier, then manually set a key frame at the seven second mark. Then, at the next frame (7:1) change the amplitude of the shakes to 0. It'll stop bouncing at the frame change.
