I would like to know the mode for make ussual feeling in poser to cartoon feeling 2d.

In Poser Pro Pack you can export to flash. This does a much better job of making the animation look like cel based 2d animation. You can set the color depth to give it the look you want. You can post process this in Adobe Premiere or After Effects to smooth things out as it give a slightly pixelated render that I don't care for. A better option is to use PPP and the LW or 3D max plugin. I use LW so in LW i use super cel shader (included with LW 6.X) to give me the 2D look. I find the Cartoon mode and sketch mode in Poser completely unacceptable.

You knwos Vecta 3D ? I'm looking for this software, but never encouter in shareware version (only a demo not functionable) I hear around what it can make great 2D final images for the Flash. What you think about?

Thank you for you held me . I known only Lightwave and Poser software. Propack I think is a better solution for my. Im looking Amorphium and is a good program for convertion files to 2d feeling.

Vecta is for 3D Max I've tried Amorphium 1.0 I haven't tried it for that. I think you're on the right track using Lightwave with the Poser Propack plugin. Lightwave is used as the rendering engine for a lot of different cartoons. Also look at toonboom

Vecta 3D has a standalone version who works without 3DS. It can attend most popular 3D software, including Poser. The people at Vecta promises simple and fast works when transforming 3D in 2D "cell" animation with this program. But, i wish try before buy.... I will look the Ligthwave... (another software to learn, my god!)

I again... Someone can help me about animations books? I need one capable of show me the basics of animation and, if possible, another about 3Ds animation... The Market is full of titles, but i'm confused to do the rigth choice. Thanks a lot more time. And i promise do not "encher o saco" (boring you) later...

For LW nothing Beats Dan Ablan. I think it's called LW 6.0 get it at half.com. I got mine for about $29.00 USD If you can afford the videos offered at www.sharbor.com for LW they are great but pricy $$$

If you like Vecta 3d, you can look ILUSTRATE in www.davidgould.com is a verygood software (free use for 30 days). Only fo 3DS.

I just bought vecta standalone. if you give me an email i'll let you know later how it went. jamball@citgo.com I'm planning a 1/2 hour childrens programme. I have the script and have gone to the sound studio to get all my voices recorded. I'm 1/2 way through the modeling. Getting close to the execution stage.
