I'm afraid, that there is no more support for P4 since they gave away Poser 5 for free. You may check here:

Smith Micro doesn't support Poser 4 .
I can pretty much guarantee sharing an update with a legit owner doesn't violate any rule in any court of law.
I'm pretty sure Smith Micro doesn't even know what Poser 4 is.

A few points to clarify things and enlighten those uninformed or misinformed....

First, the Creative Staff behind Poser for many years is still working on Poser, including Larry Weinberg. We know Poser, including the forthcoming Poser Pro 2010, Poser 8, Poser Pro, Poser 7, Poser Figure Artist, Poser 6, Poser 5, Poser 4 Pro Pack, Poser 4, Poser 3, etc... Do not believe me... look at the About Poser Screen for names or look in the Manuals... Some names change, some have been added, but many are the same as the earlier versions of Poser.

Second, only Smith Micro can verify someone is a "legit"/Licensed User. You can not...

Third, it is a violation of the EULA,  and I believe this site,  to be involved in arranging such sharing of files.

Fourth, as I said, anyone needing help should contact Tech Support for Smith Micro.

Lastly, not supporting a Software version means there are no new updates, no support on new Operating Systems, no Support for newer Hardware, ..... Officially, Poser 4 is not supported on any of the current active Operating Systems. I do not even have any machines that have a version of an OS that Poser 4 was supported on. That is what it means when a version is no longer supported.

If you truly want to support Poser, or any product whether you use it for Hobby or Work,  and you want to see it continue to grow and evolve, do not partake in this type of activity. There are enough warez sites and people that think they have some sort of right, that us "legit"/Licensed Users should not be doing this or even promoting it.

Not to be contrary, but none of the Poser updates I have contain an EULA in the zip, nor is there a pointer to one on the download page...

As the updates are a part of the Main program, the EULA to be followed is the same as the one for Poser itself.
