You'll have to excuse me for being such a newbie, but we've all been there, right? I would really like to know how to create and attach textures for like default charachters and animals. I saw some wireframe-map of how to create a female texture, and i guess there are more of those around, as people here do create a lot of textures.

The templates for the default characters are on the CD (the content CD is you're using P4 I think.) Open those up in a paint type program, paint over the wireframes and then save out the image. Then in Poser you can assign the texture to the figure in the Material Editor (Render menu > Materials). Hope this helps.

But be sure to save as a different name. It is the content CD and if you are working in photoshop or something like it that has layers put in a new layer and set the transparency to around 64%. That way you can see the map and paint your texture. Don't forget to set the transparency back though before you save. Marque

well, i'm afraid i do not have the Content CD... See, i bought the program 2:nd hand, and i got only 1 disc... with the installation files. That's not it, is it?
