Subject: question about background

ok so im working on a comicbook in poser. but wanted to know what the bes way to go about backgrounds are. I need something thats sort of a 360 view so when i change the scene that background doesent lok the same but still looks identical. any ideas?

I suggest using bagginsbill's EnvSphere. You can download it for free from his website at the above link, and read the instructions on how to use it.

It needs a spherical panoramic background image, of which there are loads available for free on the web, from Flickr for example.

very awsome, look like  just what i was looking for. Now anyone know where i can get these for comercial use? im not sure if flickr is for comercial use or not.

is it hard to make a picture into a spherical panoramic background image?

I don't suppose it's hard, but you need special software to do it.

Basically, the whole bottom edge of a spherical panoramic image represents a single point beneath the camera, and the whole top edge ..... above the camera. Making one involves stitching together some complete 360 degree photos (horizontally and vertically) of a scene and distorting that image into one that will appear undistorted when projected onto the surface of a sphere. 

Personally, I'd rather knit nylon socks for a hobby.

If you do a (Google) search on "spherical panoramic" you will find sources of photos, some of which are available for commercial use, and also software if you want to make your own.
