3dNY is holding its Golden Teapot Awards with a deadline fast approaching--Friday July 13th! All submissions are included online, and winners are displayed at our MacWorld Expo booth! You might want to mention that entries must use 3dtoolkit in a significant part of their creation and that requires a purchase. Thanks for the headsup, though. I can't afford any purchase of new software myself at this time so I can't enter.

upon re-reading the rules, I may have misinterpreted a section. The section stated that 3dtools must be used and I thought that was software that was being sold via a link just above that rule. There IS an entry fee of $6.00 but that does sound reasonable. Sorry for being ignorant.

Thanks Guys. I have yet to enter a contest, but who know's maybe one of these days I will try. I found one stating only Amatures can send work in, seeing that I have started selling my models here at renderosity I don't know that I qualify to be an amature any more. I think it should I don't do 3D stuff full time. I guess I could always email and ask. In any case I like knowing about these contests. Thanks Deimos.
